The European Computer Manufacturers Organization (ECMA), the organization which submitted Office Open XML to ISO, have published a list of all comments submitted which have to be discussed at the Ballot Resolution Meeting in Geneva. This document is of rather exceptional size: 2293 pages of comments have been submitted to ISO concerning the specification.
The sheer size of the comment package actually supports the theory that the specification has not reached a point of maturity yet. The contrary appears to be a case: there is a major dispute on technical problems, which should be addressed first.
